About School

The foundation of Ajyal Al-Maarefah International School (AAIS) was laid in 1989 to cater the educational needs of children of international staff of King Fahad Central Hospital. Years after the inception, the school mapped its presence in Jazan province attracting students from diverse cultures as the demand of international education increased.

The school is located about 20 Kms east of Gizan city, spread over 6700 sq meters, behind King Fahad Central Hospital. It accommodates students from pre-primary to A’ level. The school reflects commitment to overcome the challenge of having standardized curriculum that could be acceptable globally. The school comprises of two main campuses that is Boys and Girls. The girls campus conducts classes from LKG – A’ level, while the Boys campus from grade IV – A’ level. Boys from LKG - III have been placed in the girls’ campus.

The school has undergone some significant changes over the past three years. Changing of curriculum from CBSE to Cambridge, being the first authorised Cambridge examination centre in Jazan province, a tie up with Emkaan Education to train our staff with Cambridge Professional Development (PDQ) training program, modified infrastructure with upgraded laboratories, libraries and classrooms. Safety and security measures were also put, up to the mark. Qualified and experienced faculty and leaders were recruited which has overall enhanced the quality of the school.
