About School

Manarat International School was established by Prince Mohammed Bin Faisal in 1977 to provide a high standard of education in an Islamic environment to the children of expatriate workers who had settled in Jeddah from a variety of different countries.

The decision was made to follow a US based curriculum until Grade 6 and the British curriculum through Grades 7-12. Our students take IGCSE and A-Level examinations in Grades 10 and 12 respectively.

The Vision: in our international schools is: 'to create an atmosphere which encourages high educational achievements, develops exemplary character, and fosters multicultural awareness'

The Mission: of our international schools is: 'to provide our students with a challenging standard of education with a fully integrated curriculum which develops academic and social skills in a stimulating, technologically modern, enjoyable, and secure environment.'
