About School
The School caters for boys and girls of the Pakistani community in Riyadh from Nursery/KG to Class XII. It maintains a high standard of education and provides a variety of curricular and co-curricular activities for the development of a wholesome and balanced personality of the students. The School is producing excellent results in School and Board Examinations.
Affiliation
The school is affiliated with the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Islamabad.
Various facilities provided at the School are:
a) Text Books
Text books and practical note books are provided on payment to the students.
b) Well Stocked Libraries & Audio Visual Aids
Libraries and reading rooms have been provided in the Boys as well as the Girls Wings separately. The libraries contain reasonable number of books on various Subjects. Local & Pakistani Newspapers as well as magazines in English and Urdu are also provided to keep the students well-informed about local, National & international affairs. Reference sections are also available in these Libraries. Maps, Charts, Over-head Projectors and other Educational Aids are provided to make classroom instruction(s) more effective.
c) Science Laboratories
Science laboratories exist both in all senior wings. These laboratories are fully equipped with apparatus and the material required for conducting practical in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science and Home Economics/Psychology for Secondary and Higher Secondary classes.
d) Language Laboratories
Language laboratories have been established in SBW-II and SGW-II to improve spoken proficiency in English and Arabic languages.
e) Computer Science Laboratories
Computer science classes for both boys and girls have been started in senior boys & girls wings. The computer laboratories meant for these classes are equipped with requisite number of computers. For imparting proper training/instruction, qualified teachers are available.
f) Stationery Shops
This facility has been introduced recently in the school to help and facilitate an easy excess to stationery items at a reasonable prices.
g) School Transport
At present, a fleet of 10 air-conditioned buses is used by the School for transportation of children. Application forms can be obtained from the school office to avail this facility. Two buses are reserved to bring students from Al-Kharj.
h) School Canteen
Each wing of the school has a canteen. Students can buy refreshments and other edibles from there. The standard of cleanliness, the quality of food stuff and the prices of items are kept under strict watch by the administration.
I) Health Service & First Aid
Properly maintained dispensaries/medical aid rooms have been set up under the supervision of the experienced medical staff. Qualified male and female nurses have been employed on permanent basis to provide medical assistance to the students in the school premises during school hours.
j) Arabic Classes
Arabic is being taught from class I to XII as a compulsory subject. Qualified male and female teachers are teaching Arabic both in boys and girls wings.
k). Religious Education
Character building and religious education is supplemented in the morning assembly. Different functions are organized on the occasions of national and religious significance. Students are encouraged to prepare nice charts and slogans containing moral and Islamic teachings. The recitation of the Holy Quran (Tajwid-Nazira) and functional Arabic language are taught.
l) Physical Education
Properly qualified staff has also been engaged to impart physical training both in boys and girls wings. Games/Sports make up an essential part of the school time table.
m) Merging of sections
The Girls Students of Nursery, KG Sections have been merged in Junior Girls Wing.
Thus the Junior Girls Wing from Nursery, KG and Class I to IV.
n) Junior Boys Wing
The Junior Boys Wing remained from students Nursery, KG and Class I to IV.
o) Special Annual Examination Centers
Special examination centers are established presently at Al-Kharaj, Affif, Dwadmi, and Shaqra. The School Conducts examination at these cities at the end of academic year. This is a great help to the Pakistani community residing away from Riyadh.
